It’s a beautiful day in the Mother City, we urge everyone to be safe out there. The Western Cape Department of Health EMS/AMS rescue helicopter completed two mountain rescues thus far.
Earlier today the rescue helicopter was dispatched to Ceres to airlift a female patient who was injured while mountain biking. The patient was airlifted to Capegate Mediclinic.
Upon completing this rescue mission the crew departed to Lions Head to airlift a patient who injured herself while hiking.
