Armed Reaction officers were immediately dispatched and on further investigation, it was ascertained that a male had allegedly been involved in fraudulent credit card activity in the service station’s convenience store, before fleeing the scene towards the Sunningdale area.
A description of the man was circulated to all available vehicles in the area and a positive identity was made, resulting in the arrest of the suspect. The man was
reportedly involved in numerous fraudulent activities prior to this and the shop staff had been alerted to be on the lookout for him.
