At 05h39 on Saturday morning Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a shooting incident in the Reunion area of Durban. Reports from the scene indicate that a security guard had stopped at a building, he exited his vehicle when two gunmen appeared and shot him multiple times.
Paramedics arrived at the scene and found that the guard had sustained multiple gunshot wounds in his lower extremities. Medics stabilise the seriously wounded man at the scene before they transported him to hospital under the constant care of a Netcare 911 advanced Life Support Paramedic.
