Good day, I’ve tried checking online, but I haven’t been able to find out if I am required by law to carry a spare tyre in my 4×4.

No, there is no requirement in the legislation that compels you to have a spare wheel on a vehicle. In fact some new vehicles with new technology tyres do not have spare wheels at all.
