A mother is in a critical condition and her two children aged 4 and 20 have been injured after a collision at the junction of Percy Osborne Road and Innes Road in Morningside Durban this morning.
Around 07:30 this morning Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that two vehicles had collided in a T-Bone format. The driver was found to have sustained critical injuries and Advanced Life Support Paramedics worked to stabilise her in the vehicle. She was placed on a ventilator on the scene, her two children were also injured and treated at the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that they required. The second driver was also transported to the hospital by ambulance.
At this stage, the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
