Emergency services were called to reports of a house fire in Jac Van Rhyn Avenue, Universitas Ridge early Saturday evening.
On arrival it was found that the ceiling of the house caught fire around a fire place chimney and was already extinguished by the home owners.
Fortunately no serious damaged was caused.
Proof yet again that a fire extinguisher is a must for every house!
