Western Cape: In participating in efforts to address the cause of crime, members of Public Order Policing and Flying Squad reached on intelligence and conducted a stop and search operation at a petrol filling station in De Doorns last night.
During this operation, a Scania truck and trailer was searched which led to the discovery of illegal Schedule 7 anabolic steroids with an estimated street value of R2.4 million. Two suspects, aged 47 and 57, were arrested and are due to make a court appearance in Worcester once they have been charged.
