The quick reaction of the police after receiving a tip-off led to arrest of (04) suspects for an armed robbery in Daveyton today.
It is alleged that the two females were at the taxi rank in Daveyton at about 04:30 when they were confronted by four suspects who pointed them with a firearm, took their cell phones and drove off in the vehicle. One of the victims managed to take the suspect car registration number. Both victims went to Daveyton SAPS to open a case where they were attended to immediately. Police followed up on the information and arrested all the suspects. Police recovered both robbed cell phones and the suspects are detained for armed robbery.
