Four people were injured when two vehicles collided on the R56 near France location in Pietermaritzburg this morning.
When ER24 arrived at 07H17 this morning, all the patients were out of the vehicle lying on the side of the road.
Two patients sustained serious injuries and were provided with advanced life support interventions. The other two patients sustained minor injuries.
All four patients were travelling in the one vehicle. The driver of the other vehicle sustained no injuries.
The patients were transported by various medical services to Mediclinic Pietermaritzburg for further medical care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the incident is not yet known to our paramedics but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
