Two people sustained serious injuries in a collision on Beyers Naude drive near Judith street this afternoon.
Shortly before 1pm, paramedics from ER24 and local EMS arrived on the scene where they found one of the vehicles lying on its side. Both occupants were trapped in the vehicles. The fire fighters had to use rescue equipment to free them from the wreckage before they were transported to a nearby hospital.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision is not yet known.
