Sixteen people have been injured after a collision between a taxi and an SUV on Wednesday afternoon.
Just after 12:30 Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that the SUV had rear-ended a taxi. Multiple patients were injured and more ambulances were dispatched to assist. A total of sixteen people had sustained various injuries and were stabilised on the scene before being transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.
AT this stage the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
