A woman, believed to be in her 40s, was left seriously injured last night when she was attacked by a dog at her residence in Prinia Street in Rooihuiskraal in Centurion.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 19h50, finding the woman lying in the driveway behind a light motor vehicle.
The woman was quickly assessed and found to have sustained numerous bite wounds over most of her body, leaving her in a serious condition.
Paramedics treated the woman and provided her with advanced life support interventions before she was transported to Kalafong Provincial Hospital for urgent treatment.
