The driver of a light motor vehicle is lucky to escape with minor injuries only after a serious motor vehicle collision on Chris Hani (North Coast) Road this afternoon.
Crisis Medical paramedics and Marshall Security arrived on the scene shortly after 15:30, to find a single light motor vehicle on its side, occupying the left lane, just before the Rinaldo Road intersection.
Reports from the scene suggest the driver may have suffered a medical condition which caused him to black out. The vehicle then careened off the roadway and collided with a small wall before overturning.
The man was assessed on scene and refused further treatment.
