Four people were left injured this morning when a bakkie and light motor vehicle collided at the Hendrik Potgieter and Nic Dieerdricks Road intersection in Strubens Valley, west of Johannesburg.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find both the bakkie and the light motor vehicle in the middle of the road. The occupants had already climbed out of the vehicle and were found walking around on the scene.
Paramedics assessed the patients, two men, and two women, and found that they had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.
The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
