A man, believed to be in his 30s, was left seriously injured last night when his vehicle rolled on the N12 in Westonaria.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at 23h55 to find the vehicle lying on its roof on the side of the road. The man had already been extricated from the vehicle by members of the community.
Upon assessment, paramedics found that the man had sustained a serious spinal injury, leaving him in a serious condition.
Paramedics treated the man and provided him with pain-relief medication before he was transported to The Fountain Hospital for further treatment.
Local authorities were on the scene to investigate the cause of the collision.
