A male in his twenties is in a stable condition after experiencing difficulty in the ocean at Addington Beach on Thursday afternoon.
Just before 1 pm Rescue Care, Paramedics responded to the call to find the lifeguards had assisted the man. Paramedics took over and stabilised the man on the beach before transporting him through to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required.
With the festive season approaching, we encourage all people to swim where there are lifeguards and exercise caution.
