Give credit to those public transport drivers doing their best to help you arrive alive!

The Arrive Alive website received the following email earlier today:

“I would like to take this opportunity to comment on the Greyhound Bus Drivers over this Festive Season.

My family and I recently traveled to KZN for our family holiday and could not help but notice that some of the major passenger bus services had a number of vehicles on the N3. Most of these buses had the general lack of respect for the rules of the road. However, the Greyhound Buses on route had really been excellent in terms of the general road rules.

Every Greyhound bus had used their indicators when changing lanes unlike some of the more popular bus companies drivers where they changed lanes with no indication and they were in excessive speeds. The Greyhound Buses appeared to be very well maintained and in excellent condition. I had a chat to one of the bus drivers at Montrose Petrol Station / Rest Stop. He commented and said he was shocked to see how some of the fellow bus drivers from other companies are pushing the limits.

I wish to commend the Greyhound Operations Team and the bus drivers on a job well done and really appreciate their efforts in keeping our roads safer this festive season for the festive season travelers.

Thank you to the Arrive Alive team too for the excellent job done one the sides of the highways and major roads. I appreciate the time and effort given by the various teams along the route.

Kind Regards,

JM”
