Two people sustained various injuries in a head-on collision on the N1 near Kranskop Plaza this afternoon.
Shortly before 4pm, paramedics arrived on the scene where they found a SUV and a light duty truck several metres apart from each other. It appeared that the two vehicles collided partially head-on with each other. Paramedics from ER24 and local emergency services found one person with moderate injuries and another with serious injuries.
The injured were treated on the scene and later transported to HF Odendaal Hospital for further medical care.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision is not yet known.
