Biker seriously hurt in Bluff crash

A biker has sustained serious injuries after a vehicle collided into him on the corner of Bluff Road and Old Mission Road in the Bluff this morning.

Just after 7am Rescue Care Paramedics responded to the serious collision. On arrival they found that after the collision the bike broke into two pieces. The biker had sustained serious injuries and was stabilised on the scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required. The occupants of the vehicle were uninjured.

At this stage the events leading up to the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
