Johannesburg: 27-year-old injured in alleged hit and run collision

At approximately 21H30 on Sunday evening 18 February 2018, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision near to the intersection of Chloorkop Road (M39) and Saraseen Road in the Klipfontein View area, between Midrand and Kempton Park.

Reports from the scene indicate that two brothers were riding two motorcycles when they were crashed into by another vehicle which then allegedly fled the scene.

The old brother did not require medical assistance, however, the younger twenty-seven-year-old man had sustained a fracture to his left arm and analgesic medication was required to manage his painful injury.

The man was in a stable condition and was transported to hospital for further assessment and care.

The older brother remained on the scene to sort out the towing requirements for the motorcycles.
