Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to Mitha Road in Mithanager – Tongaat after receiving reports of an attempted armed robbery.
Upon arrival, it was established that four occupants of a white Mercedes Benz C200 Compressor had jumped over the boundary wall. The suspects were in the process of forcing open the security gate when they were spotted by the domestic worker who began screaming for help. The suspects then abandoned the robbery and fled from the property.
Reaction Officers conducted an extensive search for the suspects however no arrests were made.
