Six people have been injured after three vehicles collided on Kenyon Howden Road near Montclair Road in Montclair around 5pm this afternoon.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the tree badly damaged vehicles in the roadway. Two occupants were entrapped in the wreckage and immediately the Fire Department were dispatched to the scene as well as more ambulances and Advanced Life Support units to assist. Three people had sustained serious injuries and were stabilised on the scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics while Fire Fighters used the Jaws of Life to free them before being transported to nearby hospitals for the further care that they required. Three other people were also injured and stabilised on the scene before being transported to nearby hospitals.
At this stage the events leading up to the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
