House on Fire in Verulam, KZN

Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to Holly Lane in Temple Valley – Verulam a short while ago (Monday) after a resident noticed flames emanating from a house.

Reaction Officers arrived on scene at approx 10:11 and found that two wood & iron homes engulfed in flames. Officer could not salvage any household items. The Ethekweni Fire Department were summoned to the scene.

The homeowners could not be located. According to residents in the vicinity, two adult males resided on the premises & they had left for work this morning.

The cause of the fire could not be immediately established.
