At approximately 18:39 pm Monday 09 April 2018, Netcare 911 responded to a shooting on Skinner Street in Pretoria, Gauteng.
On arrival, Netcare 911 paramedics attended to a man in his 20s who had been shot in the pelvic region.
Allegedly the man with the gunshot wound was part of a group of five men who tried to rob the victim, the victim retaliated and shot one of the men, minor to moderate injuries reported. Netcare 911 assessed and gave the man pain medication before transporting him to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
At this stage, the exact events leading up to the shooting were unknown however SAPS were on scene and will be investigating further.
