Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to a home on Leicester Place in Parkgate – Verulam after receiving reports of a house break-in.
Upon arrival, a bedroom window was found forced open and the burglar bar was bent in. The home was ransacked. A 40″ LED TV, Lenovo laptop and an undisclosed amount of cash was stolen.
It could not be established if the perpetrators had used a vehicle or if they had fled on foot.
