A man suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol was arrested following a multiple vehicle collision on Gopalall Hurbans near Maidstone in Tongaat a short while ago.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to the scene after receiving several calls from the public reporting the collision. Upon arrival it was established that the driver of an Audi lost control of his vehicle and collided into a Toyota Yaris, a Toyota Corolla and Renault Scenic. Four people were injured in the collision and were transported to hospital by a private ambulance service.
The driver of the Audi was arrested by Police.
