As part of his Budget Speech pre-activations, MEC for Transport, Community Safety and Liaison, Mxolisi Kaunda participated in a Walk Against Crime in KwaDambuza this morning.
MEC Kaunda was accompanied by Msunduzi Local Mayor, Cllr Themba Njilo, senior officials from both the Department of Community Safety and Liaison, and the Department of Transport, of which he is political head, as well as other stakeholders such as safety structure committee members.
Following the Walk Against Crime, MEC Kaunda addressed community members before departing to the Provincial Legislature in Pietermaritzburg.
