Two people were injured after the vehicle they were travelling in overturned on the south bound lane of the R102 between the Verulam and Canelands robots yesterday.
Upon arrival a VW Polo was lying on its roof in the centre median. The driver claimed that while travelling in the direction of Verulam a Mercedes-Benz suddenly braked in front of his vehicle. In an attempt to avoid a collision he attempted to change lanes but instead knocked into the metal barrier which cause the VW Polo to overturn.
The driver and a passenger were transported to Victoria Hospital by ambulance for injuries they sustained in the accident.
