Friends Flee Accident Leaving Injured Man Behind in Verulam

The driver and two occupants of an Opel Corsa fled the scene of an accident leaving an injured friend behind on Russom Street in Verulam tonight.

A member of public arrived RUSA offices and reported the accident. Reaction Officers responded to the scene and upon arrival found an individual on the opposite side of the road. He explained that he and three other friends were in the vehicle when the driver lost control resulting in the vehicle overturning. His friends fled the scene leaving him behind due to him being injured.
