A man was left critically injured last night in an alleged hit-and-run incident on Old Randfontein Road in Krugersdorp.
ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene to find the body of a man lying in the middle of the road.
The man was assessed and found to have sustained numerous injuries, which left him in a critical condition.
Paramedics treated the man and provided him with advanced life support interventions before he was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
The vehicle that hit the man was not found on the scene.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
