Four occupants of a Hyundai i10 or i20 offloaded a 65″ JVC TV (picture 1) shortly after they had stolen it from a home on Colchester Place in Parkgate – Verulam this morning.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa arrived at the home and found that forced entry was gained through a sliding door. Residents reported seeing four men attempting to load a large TV into the back of the white hatch back vehicle.
The vehicle did not have number plates. The suspects sped off and decided to offload the TV further down the road due to the doors on the vehicle being unable to close. One bedroom in the house was also ransacked and jewelry was stolen.
A search was conducted for the suspects however no arrests were made.
