Five suspects are set to appear today in the Estcourt Magistrates Court for poaching and being in possession of stolen property. On Friday 27 July 2018 officers from the Ntabamhlope SAPS together with Ezemvelo Wild Life rangers and a private security company we conducting operation around Ntabamhlophe area when they arrested five suspects at Mondi forest.
The men aged between 20 & 25 were found in possession of buck meat and a skin. On the same day officers detected a vehicle that was laden with wooden poles. The driver of the vehicle had allegedly hired the vehicle and was unable to explain the origin of his load. He faces a charge of being in possession of suspected stolen property. The vehicle has since been impounded by police.
