Ngqamakwe police arrested a 31-year-old man for the alleged murder of another man also aged 31. It is alleged that both men were at to a local tavern at Sihlabeni locality, Kotana Village, Ngqamakwe on Thursday, 02 August 2018 at about 19:00.
According to information the suspects stabbed each other during an alleged dispute. The motive behind the dispute and the murder is not known however police investigations continue. The deceased ran to the tavern where he collapsed and died. The suspect was traced and arrested and he will appear before the Ngqamakwe Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 06 August 2018 on a murder charge. The identity of the deceased is still being withheld as some of his relatives have not yet been informed of his murder.
