A man believed to be in his thirties has been killed after he lost control of his vehicle on the M1 near the Chatsmed Hospital around 2:30pm on Sunday afternoon.
Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find the single vehicle on its roof on the side of the road. The driver had sustained major injuries and was assessed on the scene by Paramedics. Unfortunately there was nothing they could do for the man and he was declared deceased on the scene.
At this stage the events leading up to the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
