The SAPS Detectives Service and Visible Policing Unit in Olifantshoek followed up on information that led to the arrest of one male suspect for house breaking and theft. On Thursday, 30 August 2018, at about 07:30, a 20-year-old male suspect was arrested in Welgelee New stands, Olifantshoek. Police found suspected stolen laptop and firearm with the suspect and he was charged with the house breaking and theft that allegedly took place at a residential premises in Olifantshoek recently. The suspect should be appearing in Kathu Magistrate’s Court soon.
