10 injured in Taxi crash on the N3 Pietermaritzburg Bound before Shongweni

Ten people have been injured two moderately so after two taxis collided in a rear end collision on the N3 Pietermaritzburg Bound before Shongweni on Sunday afternoon.

Rescue Care Paramedics were called to the scene around 3pm by a passerby who informed them that two taxis had collided in the fast lane. Multiple ambulances were dispatched and once on scene began to treat the injured. A total of Ten people had sustained various injuries ranging from minor to moderate and they were stabilised on the scene by Advanced Life Support Paramedics before being transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.

At this stage the events leading up to the collision are unknown however all necessary authorities were on the scene.
