Three people were injured after a Toyota Hilux bakkie crashed into a home on Sparrow Road in Gandhis Hill – Tongaat.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa arrived at the scene and established that the bakkie had driven through the perimeter fence and crashed into the house. The driver was injured in the accident and transported to hospital by a private ambulance service.
Two occupants of the home which included a 40 year old woman and a 4 year old boy sustained minor injuries and were transported privately to a medical facility. The house was extensively damaged in the accident.
Circumstances surrounding the accident was not established at the scene.
