Opel at the Festival of Motoring. We’re here. We’re strong. We’re for you. And we were there!

The Festival of Motoring took place on August 31 – September 02 at the renowned Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit.

If you weren’t there, here’s how it all went down:

From the minute the gates to SA’s 57-year old FIA Grade 2 Circuit opened, it was action packed with something for everyone – little kids and big kids alike – and arguably the biggest motoring extravaganza to be hosted at SA’s premier motoring and motorsport facility.

The event saw more than [30] vehicle brands represented and [200] cars on the track, as well as scores more on display and used in the test-drive sessions/demonstrations. The behind-the-wheel experience on the main track was a hit, especially with 6 highly qualified Opel drivers equipped with the knowledge to push the various Opel models to the max.

The latest motor innovations were out in full force – from the humblest to the most expensive – showcasing just how motor innovations have elevated the average driver’s daily commute from humdrum to awe-inspiring … and possibly even good for your health!

This was Opel’s debut at the Festival of Motoring – a great opportunity to showcase some of the hottest and most desirable models amongst some of the world’s greatest supercars, classic cars and vintage race cars. It was also the ideal opportunity to put a face with the brand … the Opel Team who were on-site and armed with the knowledge to answer customer questions on the products. Just another way in which we show that we’re here … we’re strong … we’re for you!

Opel enthusiasts were given the opportunity to learn more about the various products and take advantage of the Help-To-Buy initiative, as well as deals on offer at the Opel stand (of which an estimated 95% was made up of re-usable elements).
