Dutywa Police arrested a 31-year-old man for alleged murder of a 35-year-old man. It is alleged that both men had a quarrel on Thursday 04 October 2018 at about 20:00 at Zone 14 Squatter Camp, Dutywa.
It is further alleged that the two men drew their knives and started to attack each other. Sadly the 35 year old man was fatally stabbed. He suffered upper body injuries. Dutywa Police were informed of the murder and they acted swiftly by tracing the suspect who was arrested not far from the crime scene.
The suspect has been charged with murder and will appear before the Dutywa Magistrate Court on Monday 08 October 2018 on a murder charge. The motive behind the quarrel and murder is still not yet known. The identity of the deceased will be withheld until all his family members are officially informed of his murder.
