Operation Thunder successes

Members of Operation Thunder conducted multi-disciplinary operations in gang affected areas in conjunction with Metro Police from 9 to 11 November 2018.

During these operations, 25 arrests were made for attempted murder, illegal possession of firearm and ammunition, dealing in drugs, possession of suspected stolen property, burglary and possession of house breaking equipment, possession of drugs and burglary and theft.

Drugs estimated to be valued at R400 000-00 was seized as well as an unlicensed firearm and stolen motor vehicle.

These perpetrators, once charged are soon to appear in court.
