As part of #16DaysOfActivism against gender based violence, members of Wolmaransstad police together with members of theMaquassie Hills Local Municipality, CPF and various NGO’s met at Tswelelang Township were gang members of Enemy, Money Lovers and Hard Leaving gathered to pledge to police that they want to quit the gang and be integrated back to society. The event took place in full view of their parents. Weapons were voluntarily handed over to police. The Junior Station Commander, Boipelo Seleke gave a word of encouragement as well as a former prison warden. The Station Commander, Col Gaolatlhwe Senwedi, assured that the police will continue to protect and serve the community.
