Driver seriously injured after crashing into tree on Woodland Hills Boulevard in Groenvlei

The driver and sole occupant of this vehicle sustained serious injuries after it left the road and collided with a tree at high speed on Woodland Hills Boulevard in Groenvlei early this morning.

He was however very fortunate not to be entrapped, despite the damage to the vehicle.

He was treated by paramedics on scene for his injuries before being transported to Pelonomi Hospital for further care. The cause of the accident will be investigated by the SAPS.
