Three people were injured after an Isuzu bakkie ran over two pedestrians and crashed into a stationary vehicle at Waterloo Spar in Verulam.
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to the scene by the public reporting the accident. Upon arrival it was established that an Isuzu bakkie was travelling towards Verulam when the driver allegedly suffered a blackout.
The bakkie veered off the road and knocked into two pedestrians before it plummeted down an embankment and crashed into an unoccupied Toyota Corolla that was stationary at the Spar parking lot.
The driver of the bakkie and the two pedestrian were transported to hospital by ambulance.
