One person was killed and two others injured after the vehicle they were travelling in collided into a tree and a light pole on Phoenix Highway in Phoenix this morning (Saturday).
At approximately 02:05 members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to the scene by a motorist requesting medical assistance for the injured. Upon arrival it was established that a Nissan X Trail was travelling on Phoenix Highway when the vehicle collided into a light pole and a tree. One person was killed and two others were injured and were transported to hospital by ambulance.
Circumstances surrounding the accident is yet to be established.
