Caution required after many fallen trees are reported in Polokwane City

The municipality has received several reports about trees that have fallen on the roads following a storm in the city and other parts.

Teams are being dispatched to deal with the issue. The teams will work until they finish as there is a long list to be attended.

Traffic management services will also be dispatched where required.

Motorists are advised to be alert on the roads.

Some trees may also affect electricity supply.

So far, the following areas have been reported to have trees on the road:

Grobler by the cemetery
Bush and Bulawayo Str, 
Dorp and Bodeinstein Str, 
Voortrekker between Marshall and Suid, 
Onder between Rissik and Devenish, 
Voortrekker and Jorissen Str
Jorissen between Hoog and Oost str, 
3XTrees Compensatie between Jorissen and Grobler str, 
Marshall and Schoeman Str, 
Magazyn and Devinish Str, 
Thabo Mbeki between Biccard and Hans Van Rensburg str, 
De larey Str Bendor 
Landros Mare and Bodeinstein Str ,
Devinish and Dorp Street,
