At about 12h40 EMS & Moqhaka Fire were called to an incident in Viljoenskroon where municipality employees were reported to have fallen into a sewerage main hole.
On arrival 1 Male was rescued and he presented with poisoning signs from the chemical used for the sewerage.
1 Male couldn’t be rescued in time, he therefore lost his life. EMS College was activated from Bloemfontein to assist with recovery of the body.
