A Nissan Sentra that was stolen from the Verulam CBD was recovered abandoned on Fairview Drive in Brindhaven this morning (Friday).
RUSA members received information that a suspicious vehicle was parked on the pavement. Upon arrival Reaction Officers established that the vehicle was being sought after it was stolen from the Verulam CBD earlier on. Officers contacted the owner who confirmed the theft. The door and ignition locks were damaged on the vehicle.
The vehicle was handed back to the owner after he declined to register a criminal case.
