Seven people were left injured this afternoon when a taxi veered off the R500 outside of Vosloorus.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene at 13h20 to find a taxi on the side of the road at the bottom of a small embankment. The passengers had already climbed out of the vehicle and were seated nearby.
Paramedics assessed thirteen people and found that seven had sustained minor to moderate injuries. Fortunately, no serious injuries or fatalities were found on the scene.
The patients were treated for their injuries, and one provided with pain-relief
Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
