One person was injured after a truck belonging the Ethekwini Municipality Roads & Stormwater Department crashed through a boundary wall on the R102 in the vicinity of King Shaka International Airport.
At approximately 06:42 this morning (Thursday) members of Reaction Unit South Africa were called out to the scene by a passing motorist requesting assistance for the injured driver. Upon arrival Medics treated the 55 year old for spinal and head injuries before he was transported to Victoria Hospital in a stable condition.
The driver claimed that he was driving in the direction of Phoenix when he lost control of the truck which veered across the road and crashed through a boundary wall.
