Police in Kwanobuhle are investigating a case of murder following a shooting incident in which a 30-year-old man was fatally shot last night, Monday, 4 March 2019 at about 22:30. It is alleged that the 30-year-old man was standing in Mandla Road, Kwanobuhle when he was approached by a group of males driving a white VW Golf. Two of the occupants of the vehicle exited the vehicle and allegedly fired several shots, fatally wounding the 30-year-old male.
Detectives from the South African Police Service in Kwanobuhle are looking for information that could lead to the arrest of the suspects involved in the murder. The name of the victim will be released once the formal identification is completed. The motive for the murder is not known at this stage and police are following up on all possible leads.
